Skylon is a highly technical, extremely lightweight outdoor fabric. It is a very high quality 2oz nylon which has been treated and calendered for peak performance. Developed specifically with outdoor use in mind, this technical fabric is suited for many kinds of uses. It is water resistant and breathable for use in waterproof jackets and sleeping bags and is calendered so it makes less noise in the wind, making it suitable for use in tents.

Skylon has been ustilised in many different products, including those supplied to the military. It's high washing temperature has also ensured it's use in hospital garments, where sterilisation is very important.

	Ultra Lightweight: The weight of this fabric makes it suitable for outdoor jackets, sleeping bags and lightweight tents.
	Water Resistant: Water will just flow off, keeping you dry.
	Windproof: This fabric will protect the wearer/user from the harsh effects of the wind.
	Downproof: This fabric has been calendered to make it less noisy in windy environments.
	Breathable: Helps prevent sweating and stops you getting too warm.
	Quickdry: Dries quickly, no need for tumble dry.
	Colour Fastness 4-5: Prevents the colour from fading in the sun.
	High Washing Temperature: Can be washed from a wide range of temperatures, from 30°C up to 90°C for sterilisation.
	Durable: This fabric is strong and will take some wear from harsh environments.
